Holly Morgan (Lees Hall) lies joint 5th after Round 1 in the English Girls U13 at Market Rasen with a score of 76, closely followed by Olivia Winning (Rotherham) and Rochelle Morris (Crosland Heath) who both scored 77 to lie in joint 9th place.

Sara Garbutt (Ganton) narrowly misses out on qualifying for the matchplay section of the British Open Amateur Stroke Play Championship on a count back.  However, Emma Brown (Malton and Norton) and Ellis Robinson (Brass Castle) will be in final 64 competitors with rounds of 80 and 75 for Emma and 78 and 79 for Ellie.

5 Ladies from Yorkshire Clubs make a bid to qualify for the Match play section of the British Open Amateur Stroke play Championship at Ganton.

Each competitor completes 2 rounds (22nd and 23rd June) and the top qualifiers go onto matchplay knockout on 24th – 26th June

Jodie Ewart (Catterick) ended her amateur career by not only recently winning the Mountain West Conference Championship for the 3rd time in 4years, but she has been ranked 4th in US Women's College golf, she has also been to the All American First Team - a great honour.  Jodie now plays on the US Duramed Futures Tour.
